We look to partner with junior hockey teams in all 50 states. Our target population are athletes that are removed from their usual support networks and out on their own pursuing their goals. Junior hockey in the USA typically lacks the player support infrastructure that is afforded to athletes participating in high school, college and professional programs. We look to fill that space.
Would your program like to provide mental health care that your players can access as easily as their training and coaching staff? In addition to traditional psychiatrists and therapists, is peer support from current and former college and professional athletes something that might be useful to your players? Why not outsource your mental health care needs?
Nothing.
The teams we partner with and the athletes we help incur no expenses whatsoever. We are a privately funded, federally registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We invite you to review the teams on our partner page and contact them about their experience with us.
The only thing we need from you is fifteen minutes. After players report, we provide a short presentation to the team about mental health and the services they can now access. In person team visits are scheduled mid-late august and typically take place around your practice schedule, but can be done any time your players are assembled. Online presentations are also available if in-person scheduling is difficult. There is no oversight of your organization on our part. So yes, it's just fifteen minutes of your time. Please contact us with any questions you might have about our program or our organization. We would love to hear from you.
